Are you looking for a teambuilding opportunity for your organization? PRCKC offers volunteer opportunities for groups of up to 15 people. Support our mission to Keep People And Pets Together by helping our veterinary and community outreach teams with their daily tasks.

Volunteer groups help us sort donated pet items, prep veterinary supplies for our medical team, and you can even get some exercise in by helping our outreach team move and prep large donations and pallets of pet food for our pantry program. Activities are based on our needs at the time of your scheduled opportunity

Our mission is to decrease pet homelessness, increase pet retention, and improve the quality of life for pets through education and supportive services for families in need.

Description

Pet Resource Center of Kansas City is a 501c3 non-profit organization formed in 2002. We're the only targeted spay neuter program in the Greater Kansas City area, working to help all families in need regardless of financial means. Our unique approach provides exceptional customer service and high standards of care through commitment to our core values.

We educate and assist families to improve their pet's quality of life, increase the animal-human-bond and make long term positive impacts in our community and animal welfare.

We pride ourselves in acknowledging our diverse community with a non-judgmental and compassionate approach. Our programs target families who need assistance with education, wellness, and resources to help their pets live a long, healthy and happy life.
