Mission Statement

A.E.I.O.U. is a not-for-profit organization. The mission statement is to bridge the digital divide and to shrink the literacy gap the exists in low-income communities. This program provides children with several resources being computer literacy, phonics skills, early reading, and early reading strategies. This program will get children familiar with interacting with computer devices, i.e. keyboards, the mouse, and the monitor at an early stage in their educational careers. The goals that A.E.I.O.U. starts with are helping children realize their educational creativity, becoming self aware, to become self motivated, and to be organized and structured individuals; also guiding children to learn their strengths. Children should be motivated to explore and be allowed to dream and be challenged. The second goal is to help children realize their dreams and let them know they can be reached. We want to help children discover new things and to find out who they are.
