Building Education is a non-profit organization that serves to build safe schools in developing countries to end the cycle of extreme poverty.
Our mission is to end extreme poverty by building 1,000 schools and providing education in the pursuit of transforming rural villages and poverty-stricken areas into prosperous, dignified communities.
We have built 4 schools, 3 water systems, 2 playgrounds, and 1 hydroponics system, impacting over 1000 students in rural Nepal. We have also supported 1 University student graduate with tuition scholarship.
Every year, Building Education hosts a Summer Charity Fundraiser in Los Angeles for our major donors and new donors that support us in our mission of building 1,000 schools. We anticipate to hold the 2024 event at the end of June, for 100 guests.
We are in need of volunteers to support and assist in the planning stages as well as during the event. Volunteers do not need to be located in Los Angeles, as we have virtual planning meetings, but this is preferred.

Description
Building Education is a For-Purpose Organization 501(c)3 that provides funding for education in developing countries in efforts to end poverty.
In collaboration with the government, partner organizations and local schools we aim to transform rural villages into prosperous, dignified communities.
We believe in a world where every child has an equal opportunity to education.
We build schools to make education accessible, provide scholarships and empower children to become contributing members of society. Education creates a ripple effect wherein the empowered members can lift their village out of poverty through economic activities.
Leaders create leaders. We help villagers to attain self-realization through relevant skills and better employment prospects. With our mentorship, beneficiaries participate in vocational training and awareness programs. They feel empowered to change their lives by starting sustainable social enterprises.
Our focus is to revolutionize through sustainability.
We work in rural villages to create hubs that include schools, farmers’ markets, healthcare and resource centers. This provides rural communities better living through access to water and clean energy.
