Parker Task Force is an all-volunteer organization. Our mission is to provide short-term
assistance to those in our service area who need food and/or financial assistance for
utilities and rent. We are using technology to help us in our day-to-day activities as we
meet with clients who use our services. That’s where you come in! Join our team and

Role Overview:
As a Technical Support Specialist, you’ll play a crucial role in ensuring our volunteers
have the technical support they need to carry out our mission effectively. Your expertise
in Windows and Microsoft Teams will empower us to work seamlessly and efficiently.
Responsibilities:
1. User Support:
o Provide friendly and efficient technical assistance to volunteers.
o Troubleshoot Windows and Microsoft Teams issues via phone, email, or
chat.
o Guide users through software installations, updates, and configurations.
2. System Maintenance:
o Maintain and optimize Windows-based systems.
o Monitor Microsoft Teams usage, ensuring smooth communication and
collaboration.
o Assist with software upgrades.
o Assist with hardware and printer maintenance.
3. Training and Documentation:
o Create user-friendly guides and FAQs for common technical issues.
o Conduct training sessions to enhance staff and volunteer proficiency in
Windows and Teams.
4. Security and Compliance:
o Implement security best practices for Windows environments.
o Ensure compliance with data protection regulations.
Qualifications:
* Required:
o Proficiency in Windows operating systems (Windows 10, Windows 11).
o Proficiency with Microsoft Teams and Office 365.
o Experience with Microsoft Administration Tools.
o Experience with SharePoint and OneDrive.
o Excellent communication skills.
o Passion for supporting non-profit initiatives.
* Preferred:
o Familiarity with QuickBooks.
o Experience with Microsoft Access
o Experience with WordPress and Website administration.
o Relevant certifications (e.g., Microsoft Certified: Modern Desktop
Administrator Associate, Microsoft 365 Certified: Teams Administrator
Associate).
o Experience working in a non-profit or community-focused environment.
