There has been a growing workforce shortage in the Laboratory industry and unfortunately not enough efforts to educate and recruit new prospects. In addition, the overall diversity in laboratory medicine has fallen short for decades. We work to empower non-traditional leaders from underrepresented populations to pursue a career in laboratory medicine. Our education platform focuses on bringing to light the hidden opportunities that exist in this industry.

The content of our e-learning platform will provide education on laboratory techniques associated with cancer diagnostics and various other diseases. We focus on the laboratory workflow, identifying specialty areas within laboratory preparations for diagnostics, and providing skills necessary to enhance professional personnel performance and product quality. Lastly, our courses will prepare students for certification in the field with hopes of creating a robust workforce and smoother system of laboratory testing services.

We also have an outreach arm that plans to erect multiple mobile and non-mobile labs in area's that have poor access to timely laboratory testing.

The above is just a nutshell of what we are working on. To learn more about us, please feel free to visit our website at www.labademic.com.

In the meantime, we are looking grant writers to join our team. There has been a delay in our progress due to lack of start-up funding for upcoming projects such as the development of our distance learning program and all the logistic nuances of diligently preparing and applying for grants. We look forward to securing well-seasoned grant writers with lots of experience in start-up non-profit federal and/or local funding to convert our business plan into a well prepared winning grant package. We are looking for people who are passionate about helping newly formed organizations with zero funding, but a whole lot of grind and vision!

About LABADEMIC

Location:

275 CUMBERLAND PARKWAY NO 174, MECHANICSBURG, PA 17055, US

Mission Statement

Our vision is to offer expert education on various laboratory techniques, inspection, optimization, and management. We aspire to empower, educate, and attract new leaders in laboratory medicine and highlighting the career opportunities in this healthcare field. Our mission is to bring to light the hidden opportunities that exist in this industry. We are developing a high-yield credit based technical-training online certificate program that will prepare students to sit for the ASCP HT Certification. With this certification, they will be able to work in any accredited lab as a histo-technician and/or prepare to take the HTL certification which well further decorate them to apply for leadership positions in the Laboratory fields. We are especially interested in, but not limited to, young leaders from underrepresented populations to pursue a career in laboratory medicine.
