MSP SUMO ROBOTICS PROGRAM SUMMARY:
A Robotics League within MSP where teams design their robots to participate in a sumo wrestling competition in attempts to force their opponent’s robot out of the ring. Any robot to touch the floor outside of the raised sumo wrestling ring platform is disqualified or eliminated and the last robot to remain in the ring wins! The winner of each team matchup is determined after three rounds (best two out of three). Various division competitions and challenges may be available at the sumo robot wrestling tournament including the Hill Climb Challenge and one special Battle Royale round where every robot enters the ring and battles until there’s just one robot standing!
