Join our herd of volunteers!

Provide exceptional customer service as you greet visitors who 'come along for the ride' at our historic landmark Riverfront Carousel in Salem. Enjoy working in a positive, fun atmosphere in this community ehanced environment.

This volunteer is typically the first to welcome our guests and sells tokens to riders as well as provides additional adherance to safety and secruity for the carousel operator while the ride is in operation.

Two shifts per day to choose from - call for details.

2 Shifts

  • 11:00 AM to 02:00 PM
    3 spots available (1) each = choose Friday, Saturday OR Sunday
  • 02:00 PM to 05:00 PM
    3 spots available (1) each = Fridays, Saturdays OR Sundays
  • NONE OF THESE TIMES WORK FOR ME, BUT I CAN STILL HELP

Description

A Volunteer sells tokens to ride the Carousel.

A Volunteer operates the Carousel.

A Volunteer assists with purchases in the Gift Gallery.

A Volunteer answers questions about the history of the Carousel.

A Volunteer carves and continuously restores the Carousel horses.

A Volunteer assists with parties and events.

A Volunteer is transformed into the Carousel Mascot "Rusty".

A Volunteer assists with various administrative projects.
