Join us for Dinner & Auction to Support Blind Athletes

On Saturday, October 12, 2024, Northwest Association for Blind Athletes (NWABA) will be hosting our annual dinner & auction at the Boise Centre (850 W Front Street, Boise, ID 83702). All proceeds from this event will support our mission to provide life-changing opportunities through sports and physical activity to individuals who are blind and visually impaired.

We are in search of volunteers to help make this event a success! We are looking for volunteers to support the following timeframe:

• 4:00 p.m. - 8:30 p.m. to help with the event - 15-20 Volunteers

Some of the tasks that volunteers will be assisting with are:

• Greeting guests
• Checking in guests
• Auction item will call
• Cleaning up/packing up when auction is complete

As there are many tasks to make the event successful, we will assign people specific tasks, taking the team approach, so one person isn’t doing all of the above. Before the auction, there will be time for a volunteer briefing to assure everyone is knowledgeable about and confident in their roles for the dinner & auction. Proceeding the dinner and as a sign of our appreciation, a sit down dinner will be provided to all volunteers.

Without the auction, we would not be able to provide the life-changing opportunities that we currently do. We hope you will consider volunteering for this event!
