Job Title: Volunteer Instructional Design Manager

About Our Organization: We are a committed non-profit organization that focuses on providing basketball-centric programs and technology access to underprivileged youth, predominantly within minority communities. Our upcoming basketball-focused technology access program is set to launch in Las Vegas, NV, in January 2024, reflecting our ongoing efforts towards effecting societal change.

Opportunity Overview: We are seeking a competent Volunteer as an Instructional Design Manager to join our team. This role involves the strategic planning, development, and execution of our educational programs, ensuring they align with our organization's mission and values.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in instructional design and non-profit program development.

Key Responsibilities:

* Plan, design, and execute educational programs in alignment with the organization's goals.

* Collaborate with stakeholders and subject matter experts to ensure content relevance and quality.

* Work closely with our Volunteer Teaching Assistant to implement instructional strategies into our programs.

* Oversee the design process, including needs assessment, curriculum development, and evaluation.

* Maintain detailed records of program aspects, including participant progress and feedback.

* Regular interaction with stakeholders, offering updates, responding to queries, and acknowledging contributions.

Qualifications:

* Experience in instructional design and ChatGPT for copy content

* Outstanding written and oral communication skills.

* In-depth understanding of instructional design theories and implementation strategies.

* Familiarity with digital learning platforms and tools (PowerPoint, Canva, or similar) is a plus

* Proven ability to work in a collaborative, team-oriented environment.

* Superior interpersonal and networking abilities.

* Strong ability to multitask, prioritize, and meet deadlines.
