Role Title: Volunteer Event Coordinator

Overview:
As a Volunteer Event Coordinator at Crowned for Purpose, you will play a pivotal role in organizing and executing events that support our mission of empowering youth and promoting positive social change. You will work closely with our team to plan and coordinate various events, including fundraisers, workshops, mentorship programs, and community outreach initiatives. This role offers a unique opportunity to make a meaningful impact in the lives of young people and contribute to the success of our organization.

Responsibilities:
1. Event Planning: Collaborate with the program directors and other team members to conceptualize, plan, and execute volunteer events that align with the organization's mission and goals.
2. Logistics Management: Coordinate event logistics, including venue selection, catering, transportation, equipment rental, and vendor management.
3. Volunteer Recruitment: Recruit, train, and manage volunteers to support event activities and ensure smooth execution.
4. Communication and Outreach: Develop promotional materials and outreach strategies to attract attendees and volunteers for events. Communicate event details and updates to volunteers, participants, and stakeholders through various channels.
5. Coordination and Execution: Oversee all aspects of event execution, including set-up, registration, guest management, program scheduling, and breakdown.
6. Evaluation and Feedback: Collect feedback from participants, volunteers, and stakeholders to evaluate event success and identify areas for improvement. Compile post-event reports and recommendations for future events.
7. Budget Management: Assist in developing event budgets and monitor expenses to ensure adherence to budgetary constraints.
8. Collaboration and Partnerships: Collaborate with external partners, sponsors, and community organizations to maximize resources and support for events.
9. Documentation and Reporting: Maintain accurate records of event planning activities, volunteer hours, attendance, and other relevant data. Prepare event summaries and reports for internal and external stakeholders as needed.

Qualifications:
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse groups of people.
- Detail-oriented and resourceful, with a proactive approach to problem-solving.
- Previous experience in event planning, volunteer coordination, or related fields is preferred but not required.
- Passion for youth empowerment, community engagement, and social impact.

Crowned for Purpose Corporation addresses education, prevention, coordinates and provides aid and relief to youth and women survivors of sexual abuse/assault, bullying and low self esteem in the Metro Atlanta area, Southeast MS and their surrounding counties. Crowned for Purpose Corporation accomplishes this through two core programs I AM ROYALTY and Krown Her.

Crowned for Purpose will launch its I am King boys mentorship program January 2022. This program was created to provide mentorship, address education, bullying prevention, and provide aid and relief to youth to at risk male youth in the Metro Atlanta area.
