The Light House exists to help children on their first day of foster care. We help them deal with the day, get them any supplies needed, and help set up their new placement with anything they may need. We want to help them throughout the process to let them know they are not alone in what they are experiencing.
The Awareness Committee is a part of the organization that not only lets people know what The Light House does, but spreads the word about foster care throughout Colorado communities. We have done this in multiple locations like Lakewood, Englewood, Littleton, and Castle Rock. The Awareness Committee is the face of The Light House and we love to make new friends and partners.
The Awareness Committee meets 2x a month using google meet to plan events and small fundraisers and we have an event once a month throughout the year. We would love you to be at these events as well.
Together we can help foster children of Colorado!
