ORGANIZATION: Catholic Community Services of Utah

Health Promotion Volunteers will assist CCS staff in teaching clients how to navigate the United States Healthcare System.

This includes going through a curriculum with clients that covers the different levels of care available to them, how to navigate American pharmacies, and what mental health care is available to them. They will also help clients learn how to travel to and from medical appointments using public transportation and assist in planning educational events targeting specific health needs for clients of CCS.
