Youth Services Volunteers will assist CCS' Youth Services team with their efforts to teach newcomer youth and their families how to get to and from school, as well as accompanying them on their first day and helping them find the office.

This includes teaching youth and their parents how to use public transportation, or if their school is within walking distance, how to walk to and from school and home. Training will be provided.

What began in 1945 as Catholic Charities in Utah with four full-time employees and 30 clients has grown to include over 150 staff members, serving over 29,000 clients annually. This year volunteers contributed 53,971 hours of service, and St. Vincent de Paul produced more than 440,696 meals. Catholic Community Services looks to a future of continuing to provide help and create hope for those in need, regardless of race or creed.
