When you arrive (7am):
- Turn on lights
- Set out guest sign-in book
- Unlock Family Room for guests
- Check Front Desk Phone
- Familiarize yourself with any new guest info shared with you via guest list.
As guests arrive:
- Give out chore sheets and sign off on completed chores.
- Ask "Rotation" guests if they need the van that evening. There is a guest list to know who is on Rotaion.
Throughout your shift:
- Ensure building is secure through periodic monitoring of exits, walking halls, etc.
- Complete the following tasks each shift:
- DONATIONS:
- Sort and put away any new donations
- Organize supply closet as needed

Our mission is to form relationships with families at risk of or experiencing homelessness by providing shelter, meals, and a spectrum of supportive services as they obtain permanent stability.
Description
Family Promise of Greater Denver provides shelter, meals, rental assistance, and supportive services to families experiencing homelessness in the Denver area. We also work with families on employment, long-term housing solutions and other goals to ensure self-sufficiency and a brighter future.
Family Promise of Greater Denver began serving homeless families in 1997 and is part of a national network of 180+ affiliates. Since our founding, we’ve helped more than 1,000 families, including 1,900 children. Today, an average of 70% of families leave with housing and 85% of adults secure employment while they’re in the program!

- This is a five hour shift each Saturday. You can choose which Saturdays are best for you.
- Be trauma informed, able to pass a background check, physically able to move and lift up to 20lbs, organized, on-time, a good communicator, and willingness to work with families experiencing homelessness.
