Big Brothers Big Sisters of Central Iowa is kicking off The Big Draft to reach more youth waiting for a mentor.

Our mission, to recruit 60 Bigs in 60 Days. These amazing youth, known as Littles, are looking for someone just like YOU, a Big, to step up and make a lasting impact.

The need for youth mentorship is critical in our community and greater than ever right now with over 300 youth waiting for a Big. It Takes Little to be Big!

• It only requires three simple things: Showing up, being yourself, and b eing consistent.
• You don’t need to be perfect or have all the answers-you just need to care.
• By mentoring a child 4 hours a monthfor one year you can change a life! Make fun memories, defend their potential, inspire and empower them to believe in themselves.

You can also mentor a child with a friend, spouse or family member by being a Big Duo or Family Match.
