For Long Island Fabric Stores: instead of throwing out the items you no longer have use for, such as out-of-season prints, please consider donating them directly to March of the Blanketeers. Just by donating them, you not only receive a full tax deduction, but you are helping the better the world. Consider doing this, for it would help the hospitalized children our charity works with, as well as the environment. We can use every kind of item, every color, no matter the shade of fabric. Even upholstery and velvet are welcome! March of the Blanketeers also accepts foam, batting, rolls of cut-off fabrics, clean paper, empty clean boxes, clean cardboard, paperboard, plastic, linen, fleece, flannel, cords, ropes, embroidery floss, and yarn! Please email us at: marchoftheblanketeers@yahoo.com OR click, "I Want To Help!" at the bottom of the screen, in order to arrange a date to either have the materials dropped off or picked up. In addition to the Tax Deduction; your store will receive a Thank You Note, and a spot on our Thank You page on the March of the Blanketeers Main Website. You will also be included in a QR Code Fundraising Game, which will help you get further attention to your wonderful business. NOTE: Thursday Afternoon and Sunday evenings are usually the best times for pick-up.
