Save to Favorites

ORGANIZATION: New York Public Library

  • 16 people are interested

Our Community Outreach and Engagement team is looking for a few volunteers to help with greeting residents and explaining the setup of the space (where the books are, activity sheets for kids, etc), library card sign ups, talking about library resources, and answering general questions.

HERCC sites are at three locations in the midtown Manhattan area. Shifts are Tuesday, Wednesdays or Thursdays from 1pm to 5pm, once a month. We also have outreach at our Tompkins Square Library every Monday from 12 noon to 2pm. We are looking for Spanish, French, Portuguese or Wolof speaking volunteers for both of these opportunities.
