Position Overview: As a Social Media Volunteer with Health Matters Clinic, you will play a vital role in raising awareness about our mission and programs, engaging with our online community, and amplifying our impact through social media channels. You will have the opportunity to use your creativity and digital skills to inspire others and drive positive change.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement social media strategies to promote Health Matters Clinic's programs, events, and initiatives.
  • Create compelling content, including graphics, videos, and written posts, that effectively communicate our mission and impact.
  • Manage and maintain our social media profiles on platforms such as Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, and LinkedIn.
  • Monitor social media trends and analytics to optimize performance and identify opportunities for engagement.
  • Engage with followers, respond to comments and messages, and foster meaningful interactions with our online community.
  • Collaborate with team members to coordinate social media campaigns and outreach efforts.

Qualifications:

  • Passion for health equity, social justice, and making a difference in underserved communities.
  • Strong communication and storytelling skills, with the ability to craft engaging and compelling content.
  • Experience using social media platforms for personal or professional purposes.
  • Creativity and an eye for design, with proficiency in graphic design tools (e.g., Canva, Adobe Creative Suite) a plus.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a remote/virtual environment.
  • Willingness to commit to a flexible volunteer schedule based on availability.
