As the Community Engagement Coordinator, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining relationships with community leaders, organizations, and residents with the aim of partnering with them to execute a dynamic wellness event scheduled for May 31, 2024. This is a project-based position that will take place between March and the end of May.

Your primary objectives will include:

1. Developing Relationships: Actively engage with community leaders and organizations to build strong partnerships and collaborations, ensuring their active participation and support in our wellness event.

2. Technical Enablement: Utilize your expertise as a technical project manager to implement technology solutions that support event registration, communication, and engagement. Leverage your skills to streamline processes and enhance the overall event experience for participants.

3. Budget Planning: Outline the budget for the wellness event, taking into account expenses such as venue rental, equipment, marketing materials, and staff. Ensure that expenses are managed within the allocated budget to maximize the impact of available resources.

4. Event Coordination: Play a pivotal role in coordinating the logistics of the wellness event, including securing community leaders as speakers and partnering organizations to participate in the show room floor for a booth fee. Implement technology solutions to support event logistics and enhance attendee engagement.

5. Evaluation and Reporting: Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of community engagement efforts and overall event outcomes. Provide regular progress reports to stakeholders and identify areas for improvement or adjustment.

The ideal candidate will possess strong interpersonal skills, a genuine passion for community engagement, and the ability to effectively communicate and negotiate with diverse stakeholders. Previous experience in event planning, technical project management, and leveraging technology solutions is highly advantageous.
