The Young Men's Ultimate Weekend (YMUW) is seeking dedicated Male EMTs, Nurses, and Doctors to volunteer for our transformative wilderness rite of passage event for teenage boys and young men aged 13-20, from June 19-22, 2025.
For one unforgettable camping weekend, we step away from the distractions of modern life-no phones, no screens-just raw, real experiences in nature.
Founded by Dr. Mark Schillinger, YMUW has hosted over 50 initiation events, guiding more than 3,500 young men through a challenging and empowering mentoring weekend that builds confidence, responsibility, teamwork, and leadership skills.
Volunteer Opportunity:
We need Male EMTs, Nurses, and Doctors to provide essential medical support throughout the weekend, ensuring the health and safety of all participants in this outdoors experience. Your role will be crucial in creating a safe, supportive, and transformative journey for these teenagers.
What to Expect:
Be part of an immersive, distraction-freewilderness weekend
Work alongside a dedicated team of mentors and volunteers in nature
Help guide young men through a life-changing camping experience
