We are a drive thru food pantry. We reopened in February 2024.
We are looking for volunteers as soon as Saturday March 9th 10am-1pm.
We are looking for volunteers to help on are giveaway days on the 2nd & 4th Saturday of the month.
If this is your 1st time volunteering you must arrive for orientation and sign our worker agreement.
This brief orientation will take 5-10 minutes. Please arrive by 10am. Set up will start 10-10:30am
Pantry starts at 11am and ends at 1pm.
*Dress appropriately as we are outdoors
Duties include the following:
Setting up tables
Sorting at food station tables
Bagging foods
loading vehicles
Help with breakdown (May leave at 1pm if not available to stay for breakdown)

Description
Deliverance Temple Church Of God In Christ is a faith-based organization.
We are volunteers doing the work of the Lord.
We are opening June 2008 using the Client choice Model.
We have nutrition education, materials and referrals that we provide.
Our food sources include a Food Bank, and individual donations.
We do not receive any government funding and operate by donation and charitable giving.
We are staffed by volunteers and church members.

- Orientation or Training
- The time commitment is about 3 hours (10am-1pm) for 1st time volunteers. If have volunteered and signed agreement please arrive by 10:30am at the latest.
- Must attend brief orientation and sign off on worker agreement form. Will also provide copy of volunteer hours if requested.
