Description
Welcome to Old Fort Niagara, a vibrant testament to centuries of history at the heart of the American frontier. Nestled where the Great Lakes meet the Niagara River, our fort embodies courage, resilience, and cultural exchange.
Our mission is to preserve and share the diverse stories of those who shaped this region, from Indigenous nations to European settlers and military forces. As custodians of experiences, we transport visitors through immersive exhibits and living history demonstrations.
Our non-profit's goal is to foster an appreciation for our shared heritage through education and community outreach. Old Fort Niagara is more than a destination; it's a living classroom and cultural hub for our community.
Our commitment is to bring history to life through interpretation, educational programs, exhibits, special events, community engagement, and preservation efforts. Join us on a journey through time, where the past meets the present, and exploration endures.
