Campground Host serves as the first line of contact for members of the public recreating at the campground. Primary duty is communicating with the public and educating visitors. Adhere to FS rules, regulations and policies. Maintain a professional, courteous and helpful attitude when dealing with all members of the public, fellow volunteers and Forest Service employees.
Duties include trash and campground cleanup, facilities maintenance, cleaning restrooms, maintaining campground use records, and other recreation duties as assigned. Work schedule is 5 days a week with the priority being weekends. A day of service with subsistence will be a minimum of 8 hours. This position does require host to live at the work site. There is limited cell service at this site. Host will be provided with propane, fuel for generator and subsistence at $25.00 per day.
RV’s or Camp Trailers are mandatory.
