About NOAHS FOUNDATION INC

Location:

506 S SPRING ST 13308 SMB 10278, LOS ANGELES, CA 90013, US

Mission Statement

Our mission is: to empower individuals, parents, and families to rise above poverty and rebuild their lives. Our vision is: to see families with their own, safe home; parents obtaining good, sustainable careers; and healthy children with access to quality education and the ability to pursue their dreams, however big they may be. Our values: stem for our love of others and our understanding that love knows no bounds. We provide inclusive social services attuned to people’s needs. We welcome men, women, children, single parents, and LGBTQIA+ individuals.

Description

Our primary program is N.O.A.H.’s Place, secure, transitional housing for low-income and homeless individuals and families. We cater to single parents and their children. Our team at N.O.A.H.’s Place guides those we serve toward stable employment and financial independence through career guidance, mentorship programs, and access to job opportunities. We believe very strongly in the old adage:

"Give a man a fish, and you’ll feed him for a day.
Teach a man to fish, and you’ll feed him for a lifetime."

While we are happy to serve those who truly need our support, our goal is to be here at the start of a new journey, but not at the end. The programs and services we offer are aimed at helping our clients move on from N.O.A.H.’s Foundation and forward with their lives. That is why all of our programs provide people with skills and knowledge that allow them to thrive on their own.

We believe, deeply, in empowering people to make this world a place for them and their families. We provide tools and support that restore confidence and help those we serve to maximize their potential, thereby inspiring them to live a meaningful and dignified life: something many of our residents used to think was impossible.
