ORGANIZATION: K9 Youth Alliance


K9 Youth Alliance is currently seeking 20 responsible adults (18+ years) for hands-on shelter dog training during our Positive Enrichment Series this September!

K9 Youth Alliance is a local nonprofit that enriches the lives of youth from under-resourced communities and helps abandoned shelter dogs with training and advocacy.

Be a vital part of our team as you work directly training shelter dogs! Program runs from Sptember 16 - 27, Monday through Friday from 8:30 - 11:30AM.

The ideal volunteer should:

->Be inspired by the chance to help shelter dogs

->Be able to handle dogs of all sizes & temperaments

->Be able to lift 25 lbs and be on your feet and active for 3 hours a day

  • Minimim 3 day/week requirement for new volunteers

Program volunteers recruited on an on-going basis. Program volunteers will work directly with a student-dog team and must be 21 or older.
