JA Finance Park(r) is Junior Achievement's capstone curriculum for personal financial planning and career exploration. This teacher-led classroom curriculum culminates with a visit to JA Finance Park, a realistic on-site or mobile facility, or virtually in the classroom, where students engage with volunteers and put into practice what they've learned by developing a personal budget. An advanced curriculum and simulation give high school students a more personal focus. Students select their career and define their future lifestyle and financial goals. The advanced simulation allows students to see the long-term impact of their education, savings, and credit decisions.

Mission Statement
Junior Achievement is the world’s largest organization dedicated to educating students about workforce readiness, entrepreneurship, and financial literacy. Junior Achievement programs help to prepare young people for the real world by using experiential, hands-on learning.
Description
Our programs help prepare young people for the real world by showing them how to generate wealth and effectively manage it, how to create jobs which make their communities more robust, and how to apply entrepreneurial thinking to the workplace. Students in Kindergarten through Grade 12 put these lessons into action and learn the value of contributing to their communities. Junior Achievement matches volunteer or volunteer groups with programs and schools that fit their interests. Experiences include one-day opportunities or weekly experiences for individuals (typically 7 visits). In all cases, volunteers are paired with a teacher and classroom and will deliver scripted, age-appropriate workshops to involve students in their own learning. Volunteers are provided with training and all workshop materials. 85% of First-Time JA Volunteers would volunteer again and 99% of Junior Achievement volunteers would recommend JA to a colleague or friend!
Our programs impact more than 26,000 students in Bucks, Chester, Delaware, Montgomery, Philadelphia, Berks, Lehigh, and Northampton Counties. Get involved today to help students in Southeastern Pennsylvania own their economic success!
