For more than 35 years, Rainbow's End has given children with special needs throughout north central Wisconsin a week-long summer camp experience. Rainbow's End encourages creativity and enhances the self-confidence of these children. The camp gives children the opportunity to enjoy safe, creative and fun activities in a beautiful Wausau outdoor setting. Our camp programs are individualized for each camper based on his or her abilities, strengths, and potential.
The camp relies heavily on volunteers who work one-on-one with these children so that they can participate to the fullest degree in camp activities.
For graduating high school seniors, volunteer hours help on your college application and may qualify you for Aspirus Volunteers scholarship.

Description
Aspirus volunteers are women and men, ages 14-114, each with unique talents. Aspirus offers a variety of volunteer opportunities to fit anyone's interests and schedule. As a volunteer, you will have the opportunity make a difference in the lives of patients and families, meet new people, develop friendships, cultivate skills, and build self-esteem while making a positive impact in our community.
Aspirus is a non-profit, community-directed health system in Wausau, WI. With more than 11,000 employees, Aspirus serves communities in northern and central Wisconsin and Upper Michigan. The system includes four hospitals in Michigan and 13 hospitals in Wisconsin, 75 clinics, home health and hospice care, pharmacies, critical care and helicopter transport, medical goods, nursing homes, high-quality affiliated physicians and a health insurance company. - Volunteer day camps in 2025 will be held July 14-18 and July 21-25. You can volunteer for one or both weeks. Partial weekdays are acceptable as well. In general, the daily schedule is 8:15am-3:15pm.
