Local equine therapy program seeks Events & Fundraising Team Members

Are you inspired by planning, asking and doing? Are you excited to put your skills, talents and savvy to good use in your local community? If so, then this volunteer opportunity is for you!

Courageous Connections brings humans and horses together to empower participants with physical, cognitive and emotional challenges towards achieving their individual goals. In short, we create magic by bringing people from all backgrounds and walks of life together to experience the healing power of horses.

We are currently seeking volunteers to join our events & fundraising committee. This special volunteer opportunity is for someone who enjoys planning and organizing events, talking with people, likes leading and believes in philanthropy as a tool for positive social change.

Commitment - Courageous Connections Events & Fundraising Team Member:

2-5 hour per week with and ideally a 6-month commitment (because we’re investing in each other)

Desired skills and qualities (What we want)

• Someone who orients to possibility and thinks outside the box.
• Someone who loves planning and organizing events.
• Is up to date on the latest fundraising trends or willing to research and learn.
• Isn’t afraid to ask for donations and raising funds for a cause you believe in.
• Works collaboratively on teams, is comfortable working remotely and is fun to be around.
