Who We Are:

MBMentors is a Minnesota based, all-volunteer 501(c)3 non-profit. We work with both start-ups and established small businesses throughout the region. Our mission is to help people start, run, and grow their businesses - and we do it at no cost to them!

Our organization was created on the principle of giving back to the local business community. We use our collective knowledge, skills, and expertise to offer assistance, advice, and counsel to entrepreneurs and small business CEO/owners. We are not consultants - we don't do the work, we are mentors, coaches, and facilitators of learning.

We are in need of someone to help us better serve our clients. This is primarily an administrative role with some client follow-up outreach.

The key goal of this volunteer position is to track client satisfaction with our services. This is achieved by ensuring clients were contacted, appointments made, and outcomes documented in our customer relations management system (CRM).

What You Will Be Doing:

  • Track incoming client requests for our services
  • Contact select clients to follow-up on their experience of working with our organization
  • Document client feedback
  • Provide suggestions/recommendations for internal process and service improvements
  • Send feedback surveys and gathering data after webinars

Requirements:

  • Proven professional maturity with the ability to handle confidential information
  • Verbal and written communication skills
  • Comfort and experience using a computer
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel)
  • Ability to problem solve
  • Attention to detail
Time Commitment: 12 hours a month

MBMentors is a premier source of business coaching and advice for entrepreneurs and established small businesses. We are founded and are staffed by experienced executives and business owners passionate about giving back to our business community. As a 501(c)3 non-profit, MBMentors volunteers are a diverse team of individuals brought together by the mission to advise, support, and empower entrepreneurs and small business owners. We do this with our skills, experiences, knowledge, and abilities to help people start, run, and grow their small businesses. And, we do this at no cost to our clients.

Description

MBMentors was founded in January of 2020, as a 501(c)3, all-volunteer, non-profit business services organization. We are a group of experienced businesspeople whose mission is to give back to our business community. All volunteers have extensive business experience and expertise in starting, running and growing businesses.

Our 20+ team members desire is to help our clients succeed in starting and operating their business ventures. Our services include: 1:1 business coaching/mentoring, educational webinars, business plan support, CEO Roundtables and a Women's Collective for and by women in business.

Mentoring/Coaching clients are assigned to an advisor based on his/her specific needs and business challenges. Volunteers and clients have the option of meeting in-person, through email, phone, or video conferencing. Meetings occur as frequently as the client request. There is no cost to our clients for the services we provide.
