United Planet is looking for a volunteer who is passionate about sharing our story through content creation! As a Social Media Volunteer, you will play a vital role in expanding our online presence, engaging with our audience, and promoting our mission across various social media platforms.

Here's an idea of what you will be working on:

  • Create engaging content for social media platforms such as Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, LinkedIn, TikTok, YouTube, etc.
  • Regularly update and maintain our social media profiles to ensure consistency and relevance.
  • Monitor social media channels for comments, messages, and mentions, and respond in a timely manner.
  • Research and implement best practices for social media marketing and community engagement.
  • Track and analyze social media metrics to evaluate the effectiveness of our efforts and identify areas for improvement.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest trends and developments in social media and digital marketing.
Who are you?
You are no stranger to the online media landscape. When you're scrolling through your timelines you spot new trends that could be relevant for United Planet and can't wait to share your creative ideas with the team during our weekly meetings! You're familiar with editing short-form video content and with programs such as Canva and CapCut (or other video-editing software). You're passionate about making a positive impact on our world and building a global intercultural community.

Established in 2001, United Planet offers personalized, immersive, international experiential learning, service-learning, volunteer, and internship experiences to an extensive network of partners in more than 30 countries. Volunteers and interns have helped address important global issues while broadening cross-cultural understanding, developing leadership and other 21st century skills, building bridges across divides, and forging cohesive and productive cross-border relationships.A United Planet Quest is truly the ultimate educational adventure combining all elements of cultural learning, exploration, and humanitarian service. By working closely with the local people, United Planet volunteers make a positive difference in a range of areas, such as community development, healthcare, education, healthcare, environmental conservation, and more.

United Planet Quests enable volunteers to broaden global perspectives and cross-cultural understanding, improve foreign language skills, work in international teams, develop leadership skills, and most importantly, build lifelong friendships
