Heart Bridge International (HBI) is on a mission to share the Gospel with nearly two billion people who have yet to hear it, focusing on reaching the unreached and under-reached with the love and message of Jesus Christ. We equip and empower Christians around the world to fulfill the Great Commission, offering ministry resources, training, consultations, and coaching for free to ministries in the developing world. Our goal is to ensure that every person can hear the Gospel in a simple, understandable way, allowing them to make an informed decision about accepting Jesus as their Lord and Savior.

Position: Volunteer Board Member

See: Various (Remote participation)

Commitment: 3 years (renewable), participating in quarterly board meetings and ongoing committee work

Role Overview:

We are seeking passionate, committed, and skilled individuals to join our Board of Directors. As a Volunteer Board Member, you will provide strategic oversight, governance, fundraising support, and wisdom to guide HBI in fulfilling its mission effectively. This is a unique opportunity to be part of a transformative movement, making a direct impact on communities worldwide by bringing them the hope and love found in Christ.

Key Responsibilities:

• Participate in strategic planning to advance HBI’s mission and objectives.
• Oversee and support the organization’s financial health, ensuring resources are managed wisely.
• Engage in fundraising and resource development activities.
• Advocate for HBI’s mission to your network and beyond.
• Provide oversight and guidance on organizational policies and practices.
• Commit to the spiritual leadership and direction of the organization, including prayer and discernment of God’s guidance.

Qualifications:

• A strong faith in Jesus Christ and a commitment to the organization’s Christian mission.
• Experience in leadership, management, finance, fundraising, ministry, or related fields.
• Ability to work collaboratively within a diverse team.
• Willingness to commit time and resources to the development of HBI.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Previous board experience is an asset but not required.
