Volunteers selected for this opportunity would be assisting the education team at Haleakala National Park in a variety of roles representing the park. Volunteers would assist in providing educational programs for visiting schools, as well as distance learning for schools not physically at the park. Volunteer would also assist in outreach and special events both in the local and Hawaiian communities. Volunteers would help to provide meaningful interpretation and education to students, the public, and park visitors. 4-6 hour shifts, 3-5 days a month. Housing is not available for this position.
