Every day, men and women answer our nation’s call to serve in the armed forces. The American Red Cross stands by these heroes and their families from the day they enlist throughout their military careers and beyond. As a Hero Care Caseworker volunteer, you can support military members, veterans, and their families who are experiencing an emergency by ensuring vital messages are being delivered promptly and accurately. For military members facing financial or resource challenges, you can offer advocacy and assistance by connecting them with local, state and national resources. By providing follow-up and information referrals, you will help members of the military, veterans and their families prepare for, cope with, and respond to the challenges of military service.

Location: 100% virtual.

Time Commitment: 5 hours per week with committed schedule.
