We're Looking for Volunteers to Assist With:

Going for Walks: We offer our patients the simple joy of fresh air and the outdoors, enhancing their quality of life.

Shopping Assistance: Help with errands and shopping, making day-to-day life easier and more enjoyable for our patients.

Light Cleaning: Assist with keeping our patients' living spaces tidy and comfortable, creating a pleasant environment for them.

Chatting and Conversation: Engage in meaningful conversations, share stories, and provide a listening ear to those who might feel isolated.

Emotional Support: Be there to offer support, empathy, and a comforting presence to patients and their families during challenging times.

Who Can Volunteer?

This position requires a six-month commitment and a two-hour weekly time dedication, enabling you to make a significant impact while balancing other personal and professional responsibilities. Additionally, this role demands completing a background check to ensure our patients' and their families' safety and well-being.

REQUIREMENTS

  • Must be at least 18
  • We require one or two volunteers who can commit to a 6-month term and dedicate two hours per week to assist our patients. Alternatively, one volunteer who can fulfill this commitment would also be welcomed.
  • It is mandatory for all participants to partake in our comprehensive training program, meticulously designed to span a duration of 8 hours. This structured initiative is essential for ensuring proficiency and adherence to our esteemed standards.
