Are you passionate about leaving a meaningful impact on the lives of others? Lifesong Hospice is seeking dedicated volunteers to assist with legacy projects, providing our senior hospice patients with opportunities to preserve their memories and stories.
About Us:
At Lifesong Hospice, we are committed to enhancing the quality of life for individuals facing end-of-life challenges. Our team provides compassionate care and companionship to patients and families during this sensitive time.
As a volunteer assisting with legacy projects, you will:
- Help patients capture their life stories through writing, recording, or other creative mediums.
- Facilitate opportunities for patients to create meaningful keepsakes or mementos for their loved ones.
- Engage in heartwarming conversations to foster connection and reflection.
- Offer companionship and support as patients reflect on their legacies and life experiences.
Opportunities Await:
- Flexible scheduling to fit your availability.
- Multiple locations including York, Dover and Lancaster.
- Must be at least 18 years old to volunteer.

For over five decades, the Leader family’s commitment to its residents has never changed. Providing friendly, person-to-person caring for seniors has become a Leader tradition. We help families understand the available options when it comes to senior care and answer any questions or concerns that may arise during the decision-making process.
To meet the needs and wishes of our residents to an ever-changing and evolving landscape of healthcare, the Leader family has added Lifesong Hospice to its continuum of care services. Lifesong Hospice completes the circle of care the Leader family has been providing. Lifesong is about living each day with grace. Each of our residents lead a unique life. Lifesong will personalize hospice care plans to help our resident’s transition to be as comfortable as possible and tailored to their needs and preferences. In doing this, we seek to celebrate the meaning of their lives and ensure that their unique legacy is honored.
We will provide care and support for the family and the individual, and serve them with the utmost respect, regard, and grace.
We will honor their unique life, their Lifesong.
