Group, Corporate, and Event Volunteers
Sertoma Star Services welcomes corporate and group volunteers. Companies, service clubs, schools, and other organizations are invited to partner with Sertoma Star Services on a variety of activities. Gardening, painting, and event/party help are just a few ways a group can work together and make an impact. We have both one-time opportunities and ongoing projects.
Our Big Home Show Pack-Up and Super Sale is almost here. This is a great opportunity for groups to help out.

Description
Sertoma Star Services is a 501(c)3, not-for-profit community organization dedicated to challenging the limits and changing the lives of people with intellectual and developmental disabilities and those living with mental illness.
Sertoma Star Services was established through a merger of New Star and Sertoma Centre, two agencies with rich histories of providing state-of-the-art services and programs for individuals with intellectual/developmental disabilities and those living with mental illness. The organizations have provided critical vocational, educational, therapeutic, and residential programs and services to individuals in and around the Chicagoland area and northwest Indiana for a collective 125-plus years.
Together as Sertoma Star Services, the commitment to delivering comprehensive services, choices, and opportunities to those we support in an environment that promotes self-advocacy and personal success remains constant and impactful. Sertoma Star Services serves over 1,500 consumers and has five locations in Illinois - Alsip, Chicago Heights, Crete, and Matteson and an office in Merrillville, Indiana.
