Reality Changers is a non-profit organization that prepares youth to become first generation college graduates and agents of change in their community. Our organization has been recognized by United States Secretary of Education as a "model for the country," and graduates of Reality Changers’ program have gone on to universities such as Harvard, Dartmouth, Duke, UCLA, UC Berkeley, UCSD, and more!

We are seeking volunteers to tutor and mentor youth (8th-11th grade) who desire to be the first member in their families to go to college.

Volunteers should be:

• Able to commit to a weekly attendance minimum of 1 semester (Sep - Dec 2022)
• Passionate about education and working with youth
• Proficient in high school level Math, English, Social Studies, and/or Sciences
• Invested in building relationships with students and serving as a supportive mentor

• Available on Tuesday, Wednesday OR Thursday from 6:30-9:00pm
• Attend weekly program at Reality Changers Headquarters in City Heights
• Live Scan Background Check
• Complete Tutor Orientation and Training provided by Reality Changers
  • Tutor Orientation will be help virtually on Thursday, August 25 from 6-8pm
