Volunteers needed for planning and supporting upcoming Gala in May!
Established in 1987, the Center for the Women of NY (CWNY) is a nonprofit 501(c)(3) organization dedicated to the equality, advancement, and wellbeing of women. CWNY serves self-identified women and girls in New York by providing programs and services to support, educate, train, and empower vulnerable women.
On May 9, 2024, CWNY is celebrating our work, and the women of our community, at our annual gala. The Gala will be hosted at 207 Fort Totten Ave, Bayside, New York 11359.
We are seeking volunteers to help the planning of this event, as well as volunteers to support at the event on May 9. Volunteers may offer their support virtually for event planning.
Volunteers supporting event planning may assist in the procuring and gathering of donated raffle items, planning and organizing event decoration, agenda, and more.
Volunteers may assist in the setting up and tearing down of the gala space and decorations, distribute informational materials about the center, or support gala programming, like our annual raffle.
If you are interested in contributing to this important event - where the funds raised support our operations, and our vital work, for years to come - please respond to this listing, or reach out to Emily Morton (emorton@cwny.org) for more information.
