The Go Palestine program in Hebron, Palestine offers the Learn Modern Standard Arabic (MSA) program to individuals from around the world who wish to learn Modern Standard Arabic (MSA). MSA is the language used for education, media, and journalism throughout the Arab world. The program provides intensive courses with four educational hours per day, or super intensive courses with six educational hours per day.
Modern Standard Arabic (MSA), also known as Fusha or Standard Arabic, is a standardized literary form of Arabic that has been used since the 7th century and throughout the Middle Ages. Similar to Contemporary Latin, MSA is utilized in literature, academia, print and mass media, law, and legislation, but it is not commonly spoken as a first language. MSA is a pluricentric standard language taught in formal education across Arab countries, differing significantly from the various vernacular dialects spoken as mother tongues in the region.
The Learn Modern Standard Arabic (LMSA) program in Palestine offers individual classes (one-to-one), ensuring that the classes are tailored to your specific linguistic needs. This personalized approach allows for focused instruction on the language skills you desire to develop-listening, speaking, reading, and writing-in an integrated manner.
To truly master a foreign language, immersing oneself in a country where it is spoken is crucial. Merely attending classes can only take you so far, and to overcome the hurdle of fluency and deep comprehension, studying abroad should be seriously considered. Unlike many other popular destinations for Arabic learners, Palestine boasts a limited expatriate community and English is less commonly spoken in everyday life. Consequently, you will be compelled to communicate and navigate the country primarily in Arabic.
Within Palestine, the Palestinian Center in Hebron offers an array of resources and opportunities that enable you to engage in the local culture, integrate into society, and cultivate meaningful relationships with individuals in the city. By capitalizing on these provisions, you can optimize your learning experience and make significant progress in Arabic.
