About PINK REVOLUTION BREAST CANCER ALLIANCE OF NH CORPORATION

Location:

5 MUSCATANIPUS RD, BROOKLINE, NH 03033, US

Mission Statement

We are an alliance of dedicated individuals banding together to support a better treatment experience of cancer patients (with all types of cancer) by providing chemo care packages and financial support.

Description

Pink Revolution is an organization that was started after one of its founders saw first hand how many people were going through chemo therapy alone and didn't have a lot of support. After her last day of chemo she vowed to find the silver lining of her cancer journey, and a short time later the Pink Revolution non profit was born. It was established with the help of other cancer survivors and warm hearted volunteers who wanted to give back. Each year we collect 19,000 care products that are assembled into 1,500 chemo care packages and delivered to 25 oncology units in MA, NH and VT. The goal is to help brighten the chemo therapy experience for patients going through all types of cancer treatments. The mission of the charity expanded last year when many patients were finding themselves facing financial struggles due to loss of jobs, mounting medical bills not covered by insurance, etc. This forced some patients to skip chemo treatment because they couldn't fill their gas tanks to get to treatment, or were trying to find solutions to food insecurity. Each year our non-profit distributes gas and grocery gift cards for patients in need as well.
