Pet Therapy Teams needed for visiting elder care residential or healthcare facilities across the valley. We would be delighted to speak with you about this opportunity and look forward to hearing from you.
-visit at least once a month with your pet
-pets must be friendly to strangers, confident, well behaved, predictable in public and love to be petted
-must have your pet examined by a veterinarian; minimum 2 yrs of age
-you and your pet will be evaluated by a board member in an elder care residential facility to observe interaction
-human must be 18 or older :-)

Description
CAAA has operated the Social/Pet Therapy Program in the Phoenix metro area since 1983. We are proud to have visited thousands of elderly, sick and disabled people in hospitals, nursing homes and other care facilities. Our pet therapy teams have elicited smiles, pleasant memories and responses from these individuals when no other activity or human being could.
