Our Youth Mentoring Program is a transformative initiative designed to empower and guide young individuals on their journey to personal and academic success. Tailored to address the unique needs of today's youth, this program pairs experienced and dedicated mentors with enthusiastic mentees, fostering meaningful connections that extend beyond traditional mentorship.

Key Features:

  1. Personalized Mentorship: Each participant is carefully matched with a mentor based on shared interests, career goals, and personal values, ensuring a customized and impactful mentoring relationship.

  2. Holistic Development: Beyond academic support, our program focuses on the holistic development of our mentees, including character-building, leadership skills, and emotional well-being.

  3. Skill Enhancement: Mentees have the opportunity to enhance crucial life skills, such as communication, time management, and problem-solving, through one-on-one sessions, workshops, and interactive activities.

  4. Career Guidance: Our mentors provide valuable insights into various career paths, offer guidance on educational choices, and help mentees explore their passions, setting the foundation for a successful future.

  5. Community Engagement: We believe in the strength of community support. Our program encourages mentees to actively engage in community service, fostering a sense of social responsibility and empathy.

  6. Regular Check-ins: Regular check-in sessions ensure open communication and allow mentors to provide ongoing guidance, encouragement, and a supportive space for mentees to express their aspirations and challenges.

  7. Celebrating Achievements: We celebrate the accomplishments of our mentees, both big and small, creating a positive environment that reinforces their self-worth and encourages continued personal growth.

By participating in our Youth Mentoring Program, young individuals gain not only a mentor but also a supportive ally in their pursuit of academic excellence, personal growth, and a bright future. Together, we strive to inspire, guide, and uplift the next generation, creating a positive ripple effect within our community.

Join us in making a lasting impact on the lives of our youth and building a stronger, more resilient generation for the future.

Mission Statement

We are an organization built to combat community deterioration and juvenile delinquency while lessening neighborhood tensions by providing mentorship, leadership, friendship and guidance to young men and women ages 10-17. We exist to provide mentorship, leadership, friendship and guidance. We will give young men and women a vision to pursue by teaching them life transforming skills and by providing examples for them to emulate. This will allow them to pull themselves up and out of their situation and give them the confidence to know that there is a better way. This will be accomplished by helping them identify their talents and skills through a series of lessons and activities to become more productive members of the community.

Description

Our organization was established in 2016 by the founder Calvin Hill. Our organization currently sponsors five community events, Pearls for the Girls, Mental Health Walk/5K, Back to School Drive, Mentor to Mentor Conference and our annual toy drive. Our goals are to have centers in every city in the Hampton Roads area and across the east coast. These centers will be a safe space for our youth to come and learn different skills and tools to take out into the world. We currently have weekly sessions that we hold with mentees and we are in the process of getting into various schools.
