The Social Media Coordinator plays a vital role in building an online community for local engagement, international and Caribbean CommUnity of the Deaf. Inc. supporters. The Social Media Coordinator is critical for amplifying CUD messages, engaging with the different communities, and raising local or international awareness with deaf and hearing through social media.

As the Social Media Coordinator, your primary focus is to create and post content. Build Community by raising awareness through Instagram, Youtube, Facebook and Linkedin. You will also monitor and engage with the local online community by answering questions, creating discussions, and events, and keeping your local online community up to date with any new CUD initiatives, increase the followers, announcements, or volunteer opportunities.

CommUnity of the Deaf, Inc. is a nonprofit organization that was founded in 2019. The CUD is a key advocacy and nonprofit organization for the multitude of Deaf and Hard of Hearing in the Caribbean. The Caribbean Deaf community are concerned they are not adequately represented in their leadership, policies, and decision-making activities that affect their lives everyday. CUD advocates for the rights of the deaf and hard of hearing in all aspects of their lives. From public oppression to education to living standards, CUD is an organization that focuses on the betterment of the lives of members of the deaf and hard of hearing community in Caribbean.
