Franciscan Hospice House is looking for a registered pet therapy team to bring comfort to hospice patients and their families. You chose the time you would like to visit. Some hospice training will be required. Volunteers also need to meet vaccine requirements. (At Franciscan's expense). Volunteers will find this a very rewarding experience. The Franciscan Hospice House is beautiful a 16-bed facility on the southside of Indianapolis.

Description

Our hospice team strives to continuer the ministry of Christ through compassion to each patient and family regardless of his or her ethnic or faith background. Franciscan hospice affirms and celebrates life and regards dying as a natural process, recognizing that every person has the right to die with dignity, peace, and comfort.
Opportunities include, but are not limited to, providing respite care for caregivers, patient companionship, office assistance, and bereavement support. You can also bring unique talents to our hospice Volunteer team.
Volunteer assignments would include assisting in patient's home for home hospice. Or, working in our comprehensive inpatient Hospice facility on the southside of Indianapolis. Comprehensive training will be provided.
