Reading can change a life!

The Yolo County Library seeks to engage the talents, skills, and commitment of volunteers to serve the communities’ information and literacy needs. Libraries offer a variety of skilled volunteer opportunities to make a meaningful contribution to our library English as a Second Language (ESL) program. Skilled ESL volunteers have opportunities to lead projects, work with Library staff and volunteers, learn new skills, and have fun.

We currently have adults in Esparto, Davis, Knights Landing, Winters and West Sacramento waiting for a volunteer tutor.

Training, support, and materials are provided by Yolo Library staff.

*MUST BE A RESIDENT OF YOLO COUNTY OR IMMEDIATE SURROUNDING COUNTIES (SACRAMENTO, SOLANO, etc.)

*BILINGUAL IS PREFERRED
