NMCRS Thrift Shop Contributors needed on Tuesdays from 9:00 am-1:00 pm and Tuesdays from 2:30 pm - 5:30 pm.
Core responsibilities: collect, sort and display donated items.
Want to make a positive contribution while serving Sailors, Marines and their families? Then this is the volunteer opportunity for you!

Duties include: Greet customers, collect, sort, and display donated items. Arrange items in the sales area, designate items not suitable for sale or recalled and remove from the Thrift Shop.
Adhere to NMCRS Thrift Shop policies, procedures and guidelines and comply with established pricing structure and NMCRS internal control procedures.

The Society's mission is to provide- in partnership with the Navy and Marine Corps- financial, educational, and other assistance to members of the Naval Service of the United States, their eligible family members and survivors, when in need; and to manage funds to administer these programs.

Description

The Navy-Marine Corps Relief Society is a private, non-profit, charitable organization. As a Center of Excellence, we exist solely to support the active and retired communities of the Naval Service. Located at approximately 241 offices ashore and afloat throughout the world, the Society's work is accomplished mainly by its 3,000 dedicated, trained, and caring Volunteers who are supported by a small cadre of paid employees.
