Do you want to make a difference in your community? Meet new people? Make new friends? You can accomplish your goal by volunteering at Allegheny General Hospital (AGH).
We are in search of friendly people that have 3-4 hours a week or more to join our Volunteer Team and make a difference in the lives of others.
Below is just a few of the many volunteer opportunities we have at AGH. Reach out to talk about the perfect volunteer fit for you!
Wayfinder - Volunteer serves as a friendly point of contact for patients and visitors to help find their way around the hospital.
Patient Ambassador - Volunteer serves as additional support to patient, their families and hospital employees that have been admitted to the Hospital. Support is provided in multiple ways including companionship, care cart and socialization to patients.
Wound Center - helping the staff in this department with clerical and stocking tasks. Also help with patients that are scheduled for appointments.
"Secret Shopper" - help staff with conducting hand hygiene audits on our clinical units.
Breast Center -Assisting with clerical and patient related tasks.
AGH Volunteers are provided with free parking and a meal pass for our cafeteria per shift.
