Use your passion for hiking to help raise awareness and funds for the fight to end Alzheimer's disease and all other dementia. The Alzheimer's Association invites the hiking community to hike in purple attire, raise funds, and raise awareness while on the trails and on social media. Whether you're passionate about the fight to end Alzheimer's and dementia, love hiking, or both, we would love for you to join us! If you want to hike to end Alzheimer's, you can register at alz.org/TLDhiking to unlock your online fundraising tools and receive your tshirt. Then rally a friend or two to hike with you. Or perhaps you can do 6 hikes for the 6.7 million Americans living with the disease. Can you find 6 hikers to join you?
Your efforts will help fuel the care & support, advocacy and research efforts of the Alzheimer's Association. This is a critical time in our fight and any help you can lend to the cause is important. Together we can outshine the darkness of Alzheimer's.
Ambassadors are also needed to help spread the word about The Longest Day to other hiking enthusiasts across Oklahoma.
For more information on The Longest Day or to volunteer as an Ambassador contact Karly McNeill at knmcneill@alz.org or 918-392-5005.
