What You'll Do:

  • Companionship: Spend time with patients, engaging in conversation, listening to their stories, and providing companionship and emotional support.
  • Social Activities: Engage patients in activities they enjoy, such as reading, playing games, listening to music, or simply sharing a quiet moment together.
  • Support for Families: Offer support and companionship to family members and caregivers, providing respite and assistance as needed.
  • Assistance with Daily Tasks: Help with light household tasks, easing the burden for patients and their families.
  • Emotional Support: Offer a compassionate presence and a listening ear, allowing patients to express their feelings and concerns in a safe and supportive environment.

Description

Silverado Hospice goal is to maximize the quality of life through exceptional care and unmatched service. We provide world class care for all terminal diagnoses, 24 hour customer care support, unique programs (Memory Catchers and Essential Oils), as well as pre-bereavement and 13 month post-bereavement support. We go to wherever the patient calls "HOME" serving the entire Dallas/Fort Worth Area without regard to race, color, religion, age, gender, sexual orientation, disability (physical or mental), communicable disease, or place of national origin.
