Volunteers to coordinate and organize activities at our Emergency Housing Food Bank. The food bank serves upwards of 40 needy families with healthy food and needs volunteers once a week in 3 shifts to help with unloading and organizing food, preparing it for dissemination, and, most importantly, distributing food to the families who need it. Volunteers must be energetic, friendly, interested in interacting with wide range of people, able to effectively organize, and able to work in a team setting. Our current needs are every Wednesday 2 volunteers for the morning shift (9-12) that gets the food unloaded, organized, and the food bank area ready to open at 12 noon. This is a recurring opportunity and needs a strong weekly commitment.
